Carolina Whalen, MCMSc, PA-C

Carolina Whalen is a board-certified physician assistant (PA), licensed in Maryland and D.C. She is formally trained to provide diagnostic, therapeutic, surgical, and preventative care in collaboration with our surgeons. She is a dedicated and knowledgeable PA who brings substantial clinical and procedural experience to the care of our patients.

 

Carolina is a graduate of the University of Maryland where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2017. She graduated as valedictorian from the Barry University Physician Assistant Program with a Master of Clinical Medical Science in 2021 and was inducted into the Pi Alpha National Society for Physician Assistants. She subsequently became board certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants. She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Maryland Academy of Physician Assistants.

 

Carolina was born in Mallorca, Spain and raised in Miami, Florida. She is fluent in English and Spanish. Outside of the office, Carolina enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with her busy toddler Lucas and husband Joe.
